Program Description
CallEquip's SMS notification service sends automated text alerts to equipment rental business owners regarding callback requests, rental updates, and account notifications from their AI voice agent.
How to Opt-In
You can subscribe to SMS notifications by:
- In your dashboard: Go to your agent settings page, enter your mobile phone number, and check the explicit consent checkbox to enable SMS alerts
SMS consent is not required to use CallEquip - if you do not opt in, you will still receive all notifications via email instead.
What Messages You'll Receive
You will receive SMS alerts containing:
- Callback requests from potential customers
- Rental updates (call-offs, extension requests, equipment inquiries)
- Account notifications (missed call summaries, caller contact information)
Example messages:
{Business Name}: New callback request from {Caller Name} at {Phone} for {Equipment} rental. Reply STOP to opt out.
{Business Name}: Call-off received - {Caller Name} is done with their {Equipment} rental at {Address}. Ready for pickup. Reply STOP to opt out.
{Business Name}: Extension request - {Caller Name} wants to extend their {Equipment} rental through {Date}. Call {Phone} to confirm. Reply STOP to opt out.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your incoming call volume. Typically, you can expect:
- Light volume: 1-3 messages per day
- Moderate volume: 4-7 messages per day
- High volume: 8-10+ messages per day
You will only receive notifications when your AI voice agent captures new information from callers.
Costs
CallEquip does not charge for SMS notifications. However, message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. Standard text messaging rates from your carrier will apply. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your specific plan.
Supported Carriers
Our SMS service works with all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most regional carriers.
How to Opt-Out
You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by:
- Reply STOP: Text STOP to any message you receive from CallEquip
- Dashboard settings: Uncheck the SMS consent checkbox on your agent settings page
- Contact support: Email support@callequip.com
After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message, then no further messages unless you re-subscribe. You will continue to receive notifications via email.

Privacy and Data Use
We respect your privacy. Your phone number is used only to send you SMS notifications about your CallEquip account.
We do not share mobile contact information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subcontractors providing support services, such as customer service. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell your contact information or send promotional or marketing messages - SMS notifications are transactional only.
