Program Description
CallEquip's SMS notification service sends automated text alerts to equipment rental business owners when their AI voice agent receives calls, captures leads, or records important customer requests.
How to Opt-In
You can subscribe to SMS notifications by:
- During signup: Check the "Send me SMS notifications" box when creating your CallEquip account
- In your dashboard: Go to Settings → Notifications and enable SMS alerts
What Messages You'll Receive
You will receive SMS alerts containing:
- Callback requests from potential customers
- Call-off notifications (customer ending a rental)
- Contract extension requests
- Missed call summaries
- Rental equipment inquiries and details
- Caller name and contact information
Example messages:
Christopher's Rentals: New callback request from John Smith at +1-555-123-4567 for Excavator rental. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
Christopher's Rentals: Call-off received - John Smith is done with their Excavator rental at 123 Main St. Ready for pickup. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
Christopher's Rentals: Extension request - John Smith wants to extend their Skid Steer rental through Jan 15. Call +1-555-123-4567 to confirm. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your incoming call volume. Typically, you can expect:
- Light volume: 1-3 messages per day
- Moderate volume: 4-7 messages per day
- High volume: 8-10+ messages per day
You will only receive notifications when your AI voice agent captures new information from callers.
Costs
CallEquip does not charge for SMS notifications. However, message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. Standard text messaging rates from your carrier will apply. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your specific plan.
Supported Carriers
Our SMS service works with all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most regional carriers.
How to Opt-Out
You can unsubscribe from SMS notifications at any time by:
- Reply STOP: Text STOP to any message you receive from CallEquip
- Dashboard settings: Go to Settings → Notifications and disable SMS alerts
- Contact support: Email support@callequip.com
After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message, then no further messages unless you re-subscribe.

Privacy and Data Use
We respect your privacy. Your phone number is used only to send you SMS notifications about your CallEquip account.
