SMS Compliance & Opt-In Policy

Web Form Opt-In
CallEquip adheres to strict A2P 10DLC messaging compliance. SMS consent is collected through an explicit web form in the authenticated dashboard - not through verbal agreements or pre-checked boxes.
How Consent is Collected
Business owners who sign up for CallEquip can optionally enable SMS notifications through their agent settings dashboard:
- The user logs in to their authenticated CallEquip dashboard
- On the agent settings page, they enter their mobile phone number
- They check an explicit consent checkbox (unchecked by default) that reads:
"By checking this box, I agree to receive text messages from CallEquip regarding callback requests, rental updates, and account notifications. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. View our Privacy Policy | SMS Terms"
- The user clicks "Save Changes" to confirm

SMS consent is not required to use CallEquip. Users who do not opt in will still receive all notifications via email.
Who Receives Messages
SMS notifications are sent to business owners (CallEquip subscribers) about activity on their AI voice agent. Messages are not sent to the callers themselves.
Message Types
Messages sent through this program are strictly transactional notifications:
- Callback requests from potential customers
- Rental updates (call-offs, extension requests, equipment inquiries)
- Account notifications (missed call summaries, caller contact information)
We do not send:
- Marketing or promotional messages
- Unsolicited communications
- Messages to anyone who has not explicitly opted in via the web form
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on incoming call volume to the business owner's voice agent. Typically:
- Light volume: 1-3 messages per day
- Moderate volume: 4-7 messages per day
- High volume: 8-10+ messages per day
Messages are only sent when the AI voice agent captures new information from callers.
How to Opt-Out
Users may opt out at any time by:
- Reply STOP: Text STOP to any message received from CallEquip
- Dashboard settings: Uncheck the SMS consent checkbox on the agent settings page
- Contact support: Email support@callequip.com
After opting out, no further messages will be sent. Users will continue to receive notifications via email.

Privacy
Your phone number is used solely to send transactional SMS notifications about your CallEquip account. We do not share mobile contact information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
